Rafa Bqueer (Belém, PA, 1992) graduated in Visual Arts from UFPA. She is a multidisciplinary artist, using her body as a support for her research on gender, samba schools and drag-them art in the Amazon. Her production unfolds in performance, video, photography, cinema and art education. She has participated in several national and international exhibitions and awards, highlighting: "UóHol" - Museu de Arte do Rio (2020); “Against, Again: Art Under Attack in Brazil" - New York (2020); 8th Edition of the ZUM Photography Grant / Instituto Moreira Salles (2020) and AnnexB Artistic Residency in New York (2019).
