Rafael Bqueer graduated from the Visual Arts course at UFPA. Bqueer is a multidisciplinary artist, whose body supports her research on gender, samba schools and drag-themony art in the Amazon. Her production unfolds in performance, video, photography, cinema and art education. Rafael Bqueer has participated in several national and international exhibitions and awards, including: "UóHol"-Museu de Arte do Rio (2020); “Against, Again: Art Under Attack in Brazil"- New York (2020); 8th Edition of the ZUM Photography Scholarship / Instituto Moreira Salles (2020) and AnnexB Artist Residency in New York (2019) .
