Raphaela Melsohn builds places to and from our bodies. The physicality and relationship between people, how we exist in space, and how space informs our existence are the premises of her work. Master in Visual Arts from Columbia University (‘22) recently had the solo show “a house made of floor” at Marli Matsumoto (‘23) and was commissioned to do a public work at Socrates Sculpture Park in relation to Subterranean Project, PN15, by Helio Oiticica.
